Any pre-74 911S commands an absurd amount of money. 911T's and E's are better drivers, once you fix the suspension on an E.

In reality, they are over rated, just like the 356. Ive owned long hoods and 356s. If you love that look buy a later car and back date it.

Already flagged. Someone probably flagged it, so they can try and snag them with less competition.

Anyone who thinks a 911 is a beetle has never worked on one nor driven them on a track. Clarkson is a putz

If I was looking I wouldn't buy anything older then a 1978 or so. I believe that's when they started to build them with galvanized steel. In the Midwest rust is always an issue with any old car.

Galvanizing started around 1970 but was only partial, go figure. Full galvanizing started during 1975

If you want a 911 that really holds up to rust, you have to start with a 996. Even 993s like to rust

Yeah no kidding. I own and like both, but they are totally different experiences.

Yes, but it took people a while to figure out that this was his stick since the 80s.

I so hope his new show flops. Although, the new top gear cast doesn't look all that impressive. Better than the US version but any 3 people could potentially be better than our version.
