1977 BMW 530i (e12), 6 cyl, 3spd automatic, 186k mi
Car runs and drives, new front brakes and rotors, belts, starter, newer tires, hydraulic line for power steering, comes with some spare parts, some previous parts. New Kenwood Excelon stereo. Wheels were replaced with BMW sport wheels (original rims come with it too), has an Alpina spoiler and momo steering wheel. Oil changed every 3k miles or once a year, only used synthetic. Good ride, transmission shifts smoothly.
Idle is rough at stop lights and just after starting, tries to stall. It's finicky but drivable. When driving the engine runs fine and has good power. Also small exhaust leak even though exhaust was replaced within the past 4yrs. Has got some rust spots as any nearly 40-year-old car in CT does, will need some bodywork. Mechanic looked at the frame and said underneath it was in good shape. Could use repainting too, paint is very faded.
Selling because I have no room for this in the driveway! Looking for $2000. I will not part it out. Thanks for looking!
