Hello everyone! Up for sale is my 85 244 turbo with "Police pakage." I bought this car out of Maine last year, and have really enjoyed it.
The car is in good overall shape, but is far from perfect. Runs and drives good! (I drove it straight back from Maine to Indiana last spring!) Body wise its pretty straight, however some rust is starting to set in. Its also had a respray at some point thats just ok.
The car was originally an auto and I swapped an m47 into it as soon as I got it home (I still have all the auto trany stuff that comes with it.) I also built a 3inch exhaust for it, the one on it was pretty rough. I had a new timing belt and water pump put on, when I bought it as well. I have done motor mounts, added an electric fan, new blower motor, and several other things. Interior is in nice shape. It has some small issues but nothing major minus the rust.
I do not have a title for the car as I bought it from Maine which does not issue titles for vehicles over 25 years old. So it will be sold with bill of sale only!
Overall its a neat old Volvo, Im just ready for the next thing! Im open to trades, but cash is more alluring to fund the Audi I just bought. Cash price is [B]$1500 [/B]obo! Car is located in Indiana.

Yea its by far my favorite feature of the car! This has been a weird one for me. I love working on it, but I really don't like driving it all that much... Miatas ruin a lot of cars. Haha
We need to have a Miata day soon. Come up!

I did! I bought a Miata, much easier!
The gearing should be about right, with the stock auto rear. Some LSD would help it out for sure, done many a' one wheel...
There are rear ends as short as 5.83 for the Dana 30, it wakes things up a bit 
Just wanted to say that if every CL seller would put nice detailed pictures like you did for this ad, the world would be a better place.
