In reply to cutter67: any chance you are coming to Michigan to pick up any more cars? I would be interested but no time for travels right now.

Ugh. I have been looking everywhere for one of these! I can't find anything around my Brooklyn/NJ area. I actually had set out to buy an E30 convertible and bought my 944 from a fellow who had just sold the one I wanted, but had the 944 for sale as well. I kick myself for not waiting and getting an e30.

I would snatch this up in a second if it were closer and if I could sell my 944 quickly to pick it up. I've been trying to trade folks in this area and they are all asking far too much for theirs or they have blown engines, etc.

You've got my interest Cutter.

In fact, I need to talk to you anyways about a few other cars and such. Maybe sell/trade the Miata, the old Volvo V70, the Toyota T100, etc.

Anyhow, PM sent/sending. This could be a much more age suitable convertable than the Miata is.

We're going to turn this into a giant swap thread, aren't me.

Redhookfern, I want to know about the 944 that Cutter is going to have up for sale soon.

As for my Miata, it's a 91 with 320k miles on it, short nose crank. A/C, power steering, manual transmission. Works fine, it's my daily driver. I'm bored mostly, and as I get older, it gets lower and harder to get in and out of.

This is the car he'll soon have. Didn't sound like he would be selling it lol. Sounded like it could be joining his personal fleet. She's a great car, just been waiting on an E30 vert for a while now!

Hmm, and if memory serves, you're in MD too, right? I would love to get a backup car with historic plates.

Nolan, if you're interested, I have a pair of E30 sport seats in the same color and in much better condition.

Let me hear back from Nolan first. I actually bought them for my 1800ES, so they aren't really for sale. They aren't perfect, but I planned to recover them to match the interior anyway so perfection isn't required, so if I can work out a deal with him it could work out well as I'd still have a set (his old ones).

I was too late and didn't get the car Ian. I think it's Redfern who will be the new owner shortly. But thank you very much for the nice offer on the seats.

Racer1ab, right now I can't simply sell the Miata, as I need a car to drive. I need to either buy a cheap replacement first (that was the plan with this BMW), or do a swap for something interesting. So if you've the likes of a BMW or Saab or such, anything but a Camry or Accord, I'll say I'm curious.
