Just a note on the instrument panel. When I had mine, I lost the speedometer after resetting the service light. My issue ended up being on what I'd call a printed ribbon cable. I fixed it with a circuit writer pen.

My 960 customer had issues with the transmission controller not getting a speed signal. The speed signal goes to the speedometer unit and then the speedometer unit sends a washed signal to the trans controller.
Man was I happy when I found that the speedometer was getting a signal from the speed sensor. It looks like to change the speed sensor on a 960 (with its IRS) you have to drop the rear suspension/subframe/diff in order to access it. Like that is going to happen on a 20 year old car. Anyway we sent the cluster out to a company whose name I forgot and they fixed it.
I really wish I could jump on this. Down the road I'm looking for a turbo engine, manual trans, and alloy wheels for my 745. Just not a good time for me currently.
Does it still have the Hydras? What kind of shape are they in? Tires? Any fluid leaks? What about shocks and struts - OE or aftermarket? Recently replaced?
Still has the hydras, dirty but in pretty good shape, no center caps. Tires are worn and one looses air slowly. Haven't noticed any fluid leaks. I believe shocks and struts are OE, probably not replaced recently.
I really shouldn't even be looking at this, but just curious, how much power can these things make with minimal work (bigger injectors, dialed up boost)?
Still here. Any interest in a package deal with my 94 940 wagon? Much better condition but n/a auto drivetrain. Combine both for the ultimate 7/9 series wagon. Can get pictures later.

I will consider trades for an Amazon.
