not mine nor is it affiliated. Wonder what trans it has. I've always been a sucker for short bumpers...

@$&*"#@/!! If it's a stick, it's exactly what I'm looking for, but too far.
If anyone has or knows of a manual e30 closer to DC for challenge $$, I've been looking w/ not much luck.
I was actually looking at buying this car but I needed one with a little better gas mileage.
But I did end up buying a 98 328i
Still, the E30 is my favorite generation in terms of styling.
Says - "I have one too many cars in my driveway, so I must sell one."
Means - "Of all the cars I own, this is the biggest piece of E36 M3, so I'm selling it."

Sometimes it means this is the only car I own that is saleable...

In my case describing my E30, that's pretty accurate...
My enthusiasm for the car is at sub-zero so I waffle between taking it to a shop and letting them fix it (or at least give me an estimate to choke on) and just dumping it on eBay as-is (likely scenario).

Don't know. I starts and runs ok, but it's down on power. The fan belt broke back in Feb and while I was able to get it off the road reasonably fast, it looks like it may have overheated a bit. I had it towed home, replaced the belt and it seemed fine for the first 10 miles or so and then engine tone "changed" and the MPG gauge went from its normal mid-20's down into the teens. I did a compression test and one cylinder is a bit lower than the rest and none are consistent. (90 vs. 120-170 ish - data is at home, not with me). Head gasket? Head? Right now I don't care. I'm done working on this constantly broken berking POS. I've never gotten more than a couple of days' worth of trouble-free driving since I bought the damn thing three years ago. Planning to put it on Ebay this weekend after I get home from a mini-vacation.
The problem is I've put so much money into the car between overpaying for it to begin with and all of the various upgrades and repairs I've done, I'll strip it and crush it before I give it away - at least I'd get some satisfaction out of watching the POS get turned into a cube of metal, which is more than I ever got out of driving it.
So no, I won't sell it for Challenge money.
