After thinking my old CBR900RR was the baddest thing on the road ( I was 19), a 50yr old co worker let me ride his ZX-11 that "had some work done", SCARED THE WEE OUT OF ME! Big bore rebuild and add a turbo = HOLY E36 M3! I would love one, and it looks CLEAN, but school and too far away!

If you have anything in specifics you want, let me know. I have two buyers coming to look at it today, so they say. But nothing is sold until money changes hands! When most bikes were doing 165-ish, the ZX-11 would do 185-ish, and get there in a hurry. Back in the day, this was THE BIKE to have, and I have still surprised a lot of newer 600s and 750s laughing at my old couch. Highway rolls with my friend's 04 GSX-R 600, he was like a 1 legged man in an ass kicking competiton.

I imagine it will sell locally before I can get up there, but we'll see. Thanks for the additional pictures.

I had a GPz-1100, the early version of the ZX-11, like this but not skanky.

I had to convince my insurance company that I am an adult and it's NOT a ZX-11.

"Come on, ZX-11s weren't made until 1990 or so, this is a 1984!" They bought it. I asked and they said if it was a ZX the rates are automatically doubled, then we work from there depending on what we find out.

When I registered the bike and got the Title in the mail six weeks later, it said ZX-11.

Oops.

Sold.
