I wouldn't touch this car if the story is true. Could be a "catfish" ad as well.

Looks like the cleanest Storm I've seen in years. If there is really a motor in the trunk and the engine bay, if they're the DOHC mill, it's well worth the price.

That story is something else, though. Only in TN.

Dunno been up for a while and was originally $600. I don't think he meant that his son got hurt while actually working on the car though. I read it as before he could get the engine installed he got hurt and had his leg removed. Could be wrong though.

I just see it as a blank canvas for someone who's looking for a project.

Not sure its a GSi which has the DOHC. No such thing as a CS2 anyway. Early ones were 1.6 liter 130ish hp and later they went to 1.8 liters and a little more power and torque. Very fun car with fully adjustable suspension. That one is also missing the handling by Lotus badge, so likely it'sthe 95 hp base model.

The GSi's are fun cars.

I had a nice one that is still being autocrossed somewhere along the northern east coast.

Any idea what engine the son was installing? Stocker, LS1?

It's not a real GSI that for sure no badging and the center section of the tail is wrong for a gsi. GSI are red between the tail lights. 92 GSI would be 1.8 16 valve DOHC all others had 1.6 (8 valve?).
