Put your glasses on and look at the hood Loved that color, had a couple of different ones in that color. Really like the BWA wheels, but it's fortunately too far away to tempt me. Thank goodness!

Ah...good catch. (...and I was even wearing my glasses....).
I'd wager more of the same underneath. But. If it was closer I'd be looking at it today.
Glad it's so far away, these are another I've always had a soft spot for (love those old wedge-shaped cars for some reason...)
If the one in the projects section looked that clean but had that much rust, then this thing is a complete rust bucket.

Looks like someone is going for the quick flip.
Bought for $500 and now asking $1400
Up for sale is a 1979 Fiat X1/9 Bertone, it has a removable Targa top that stores in the front trunk. This is a rear engine 2 seater sports car that is just a ton of fun to cruise around with the top off. The motor is a carb'd 4 cylinder mated to a tight ratio 5 speed trans with a hydraulic clutch. It has 4 wheel disc brakes with a brand new brake master cylinder. This car runs good but has sat for some time but I have cleaned the carb and replaced some rotted vacuum lines and it runs much better now but it could use plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor button. A basic tune up would make it close to perfect but it does run and drive now. The car has 169,xxx original miles on it and the tires are in good condition and all hold air just fine but the car is a project car and does need work. I bought it with all intention of completely restoring it but I really don't have the time to do it. It does have moderate rust and will need some panels replaced and it will need some other minor body work and a nice paint job to complete the exterior. The interior needs work as well but like I said this is a project but you can still drive it also. I'm asking $1400 for it or best REASONABLE offer, if you want to make an offer please do so after you come see it in person otherwise save your offers unless you are offering to come buy it at advertised price. You can contact me by replying to this ad or you can Call/Text me at Four19-Six80-2Nine3Four anytime between 9am-10pm. Thanks and have a great day!
I saw 3 of these at the local pick n pull last weekend. One "builder" that they were selling for $995 and 2 to pull parts from. Never seen so many in one place!
