That would make a good donor to SE-Rize a GA16 B13.

Plus you'd get the better brakes in the deal.

135K to 145k....isn't that about the mileage the oil pump starts to go on a SR20 (asks the guy who used to own a G20)?

I though the oil pump thing had to do with the pan getting beat up and screwing with the pickup?

Are there two oil pump things?

i bought one at auction with 115k miles and a bad oil pump, but the pan was good.

Bad oil pump? I owned 11 SR20 powered cars with mileage as high as 260k and never had an oil pump failure. Hell a good friend has one thats closing in on 400k miles and never had an oil pump issue either. Now if the pan gets hit into the pickup thats a different story...

273k on mine and it runs like a champ. It is my 7th Sr20 powered car and I have never had any oil pump issues

Never any oil pump issues here either.

I've had my NX2000 since 1996.

However, I did burn the rings out of it on the road course at Shannonville, which gave me a nice excuse to drop the JDM SR20DET into it in 2003.

No oil pump issues with it either.

P.S. I lucked out and got a hardtop.

I hear you can haul quite a bit of wood in these

You can! Right up until the point you put a cage in it. Then, not so much.

It's pretty good for transporting wheels, jacks, etc. from the grid to the paddock though.

You'll need to log in to post.
