Isn't it funny when they tell you that fiberglass cars don't rust. But then they do. COuld be worse, Plastic Porsches have the 'glass around the chassis so when they rust (and I bet there's a few vintage racing right now) you have to cut a perfectly good body to get to the chassis. Of course Porsche never thought these would be anything more than scrap after a couple of years.

Speaking of Porsches, did anyone notice that the deco trim and rubber insert on the front of the Sonnett was from a Porsche 356?

The seller probably doesn't know much about it and just peeked in the window and saw the column shifter. Or they just entered the wrong information.
I'm pretty sure that has a freewheeling four on the tree.
I'd love to buy a Sonett II and build a tube frame chassis for it.
