NMNA and I have no interest in it.

But I'm sure someone here does....

Aussie, you should buy this. On your way back through, stop by my place and pick up most of what you'll need for a GLH-level turbo II motor.

Combine it with that Jet 007 and have an electric car that can actually haul some batteries!

(Rampage has 1000lb capacity in the bed, more than the El Camino of the time)

Other than the EPA code orange oil spill under its parking spot.... Much love for these cars.

In reply to turboswede:

I've never understood that, was the ElCamino really softly sprung or something? With 5 people and some luggage the back of the wagon had to be heavier than the back of an ElCamino plus 800lbs.

They knew how bad the frames rusted out on the ElCo.

As an aside, I once loaded the bed of my 2.2/FI/5speed '82 'page to the top of the rails (and a bit over) with scrap cable from an electrical job we were doing back when I was still a first year electrician apprentice. It was well over a half ton.

Fwiw, I've driven El Camino's and Rampages with loads in them. The Rampage is much calmer. There is a lot of sway and wiggle with an El Camino. Virtually none in the Rampage.

I've also overloaded the heck out of a Rampage, and it carried it with aplomb. They really are a heck of a mini-trucklet. And being fwd, they can go where a 2wd Toyota can't even dream of going. Not even with a locker rear.
