Why are there so many cool cars on CL when I have no money?

1) These are AWD, right?

2) What sort of MPG do they get?

3) Reliable?

4) Parts availability?

They are switchable on-demand 4WD and most have low range, they do surprisingly poor with the stock engine (I rarely saw better than low 20's), are UNKILLABLE, and parts are easy. The hot ticket is a modern EJ-series engine, as they bolt right up with a cheap adapter plate and will give you 2x the gas mileage and horsepower. My EJ'ed Brat would spin all 4 wheels through third gear and I once got 36MPG out of it...

I went through a vintage Subie phase and have owned 10 or more...if anyone here buys this I still have some spares.

4x140, very oddball pattern. Your options are limited to Peugeot 505 wheels or redrilled 6 lug truck wheels basically.

Yup. When I worked at a wheel place that basically had wheels to fit everything. We rarely had anything to fit an old subie event with a milling machine on site.
