Body has some rust in various places.
Needs a new battery
Engine Cranks, but won't fire - I think it might need a fuel pump.
This is a fun little car, but it definitely needs some work. Hoping to find a home for it, other than the scrap yard.
Thanks for Looking!
What am I missing?? If this is as depicted, oh boy!! And it's blue too!! Anyone here have any ideas on what the mechanical issue could be besides fuel pump, cps, etc>?

It's in Ohio - rust???
Look at the right rear 1/4 real carefully.
Rust and non-running. Still a fantastic deal.

I did, for an Ohio car it looks crazy clean. Hell for Maryland, this is clean. 90s Hondas here are full of holes. Forget 80s cars.

I think he's talking about the funky lean that wheel has. That jumped out at me right away. If the suspension pick-up points are rusty, it's a gonner
I guess I'm just not seeing it.
Nah, it's sitting how AllTracs do.
A rusty ST165 with unknown issues possibly stemming from the absolutely terrible engine controls these cars had doesn't exactly get my loins stirred, though.
If i felt confident about rust repair, i'd maybe offer the dude $400, settle on $500, sell the wheels to offset half of the cost, sell the motor and trans to offset the rest and put some cash in my pocket to pay for rust removal.
Then stick a Gen3 motor/trans in it at my leisure. Not much reason to stick with the old annoying Gen1 lump.
Oh haha ha. What car would you target?
Late mr2 turbo or 94-99 celica gt4.
I'm guessing the replacement engine will be well north of the price of the car.

Yes, as would any replacement 3sgte of any kind.
You're looking $2k or less for a Gen3/Gen4 i think. But they'll make way more power and drive much better.

oh the possibilities......and to think if they kept making it, Paul Walker may have been driving a GT Four instead of an Eclipse.
