Wow, nice price. Figures though... I think i threw out my window motors. Maybe. I have a spare driver's side though.
Those are 4WS wheels, which would give me great apprehension about this car, unless the guy put those wheels on there and it is not in fact a 4WS car.
Ah good call.
The 4WS MX6s were quite rare, weren't they? And also a total pain in the ass in the year 2015 because parts?
Those are 626 Turbo wheels. Mine came with those. Directional per side, too, unlike most cars.
Can't you lock the 4ws stuff solid and remove the juice parts that make it work?
If the center caps say "mazda," then the wheels came from a 626 turbo. If the caps say 4WS then it's probably a 4WS car, because those wheels, in silver, were the only wheel which came on the 4WS MX6. Also, 4WS MX6es were only available in the US in '89.
I see a bunch of RVS around it in the photos, it smells like the seller is paying storage cost to keep the car there. Send out the lowball alarm!
In reply to Cooper_Tired:
because despite the asking price of $1500, $900 cash will take it thanks to the RVs letting us know that the owner is likely paying $50-100 a month in storage cost.

Because they're awesome and you're hoping it doesn't have 4WS?
I would only buy a 4WS car if it was in truly excellent condition (with working 4WS) and I had an extra MX6/626 turbo sitting around (which I do) to donate its entire rear suspension when the first 4WS-specific component failed. Because almost everything back there is unique to 4WS and NLA from every source.
Parts washer and tools hints it may be rented shop space. That, or the car is in a buddy's space and they are tired of looking at it.
