I want this really bad. Glad it is far away. Always had a soft spot for AMC cars. Probably because of my mom's old Concord she had while I was younger.

A Spirit AMX was my first AMC love, and I still really want to build one one day (albeit with a 4.6L 4.0/258 hybrid stroker with EFI and a turbocharger hooked up to a T5).

I find these to be amusing and awesome. Would love to see/build a SCCA CP autoxer out of one

Kind of like this? Chip Walterman's Spirit/AMX set up for MCSCC high-speed autocross (a CP car).

Needs moar turbo ala GRM Challenge Cherokee.

What kind of front suspension do these have?

I was talking to the owner when he had it on ebay. Looks to be a fairly solid car -and I've always liked these. It climbed out of my cheap-ass budget range though....

Oddly, if you want some backround on the car do a search on AMXs and I bet you'll find when the car was in Virginia and see a bit of the previous owner's time with it. (actually two owners ago as the current owner bought it from someone in Newark).
