Hey guys I need to get a megasquirt for the Olds and was wondering if someone has one laying around they aren't using anymore? I have the TPI from a Vette going on the engine but need to get a harness and computer for it.

So no one has one sitting on a shelf?

All mine are in vehicles. Get a 3.0 MS1 kit from DIY. What are you going to save with used? $50? And not know what you have? Like put together by monkeys banging on a soldering iron?

Ditto what the doc said, DIY Autotune is a great supplier and if you don't want to solder your own because you're not great with electronics, you don't want used anyway. If you are comfortable with electronics, you can save a good chunk of cash if you solder your own. However, I would recommend you go with the complete MS2 kit with the 3.57 board. I know, it's a bit more money, but the MS2 has built in controls for the GM IAC your TPI uses, while the MS1 doesn't...that IAC is worth the upcharge, IMO. The 3.57 board has some minor improvements that aren't a huge deal, but the updated board is only a few bucks more.

Another option is using a GM computer and harness from a junkyard....it's pretty well hacked and unless you're doing a bunch of custom stuff it will probably be easier/better than the megasquirt.

I have a lot on the shelf but they cost (actual) money! If you find a non-op, I do repairs pretty cheap.
