I know a guy with a NOS, factory sealed, still in box, 30-pound can of R12 refrigerant. Anybody interested in it? He'd like to sell it rather than just take it to be disposed of.

Where is he and how much does he want for it?

Southeast PA / SNJ / Delaware area, close to I-95. I don't know if he has a price in mind, but he was asking if I knew anybody interested in buying it. I honestly have no idea what it's worth.

As I understand it he's 5-10 years late to make a ludicrous amount of money on it. The demand for it has died down now that most of the R-12 cars left aren't daily drivers anymore. They're going for $300-$500 on ebay. http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_sacat=0&_nkw=30lb+r12&LH_Complete=1&LH_Sold=1&rt=nc

So was I . Actually had one of the little dears. That long-travel suspension ate up the pothole blasted streets of Brooklyn while our ship was in drydock in the Brooklyn Naval Yard. We got about 8 guys a time into it.
