A guy near me is selling one of these. The picture below is not the one for sale, but similar.
I don't know the year, guy started at $3,500 and is down to $2,000. I would low ball him. It appears to be about 28 feet long.
It does nothing for me, but if you need a race car puller or whatever, I can check it out for you.

Looks similar to the one that my grandparents are selling. Powered by a whopping chevy 350.
The idea of one of these for a Nationals week (as long as the AC works) and then re-selling it is intriguing.

or.... make it a Lemons car?
Park it somewhere appropriate, put skirting around the lower part it and call it home.

I have absolutely no use for one, but man I really want a big old motorhome.

By brain read that as Hindenburg approved for at least the first 3 times I read it. Damn Dyslexia!
My concern would be that you’ll probably need to rebuild everything, both the vehicle related parts and house related parts on something this old and cheap. If it’s a labor of love fine, if you want cheap RV’ing you might want to spend more to get a lot more.
Many of these do not have any towing capacity to speak of since they weigh so much and have a large cantilever area behind the rear wheels.
Friends of mine who travel all over pulling race cars with mobile houses have had to special order or shop fully loaded up with RV knowledge I do not possess. So... just don't expect that you can pull anything with that.

It's very similar to the one I just bought at a similar price. They aren't bad, but they aren't real high quality either. Based on the Chevy P30 chassis the chassis parts are surprisingly affordable. The coach part just depends on what maintenance has been done.
Unfortunately, a little more money does NOT get you a lot more motorhome, I looked at similar rigs in the $5-$6k range and they were no better off than the one I bought for $2k really.
