Wonder how much you could sell the body kit for?

If that were closer, I'd buy it and part it. I could use that brake/spindle/hub set up

Really!? Is that a bonus? How about "seats and other parts of the, you know, CAR are included too??

Oh, and it has "imported heads"?

Could be Aussie heads. The Aussie Cleavland heads are desirable, they are like a street friendly 351c Boss head. Did the ad say if the engine he was trying to install was a 351c or 351w? It is also possible to install Cleavland heads on a Windsor block, but the manifold to do that is very hard to come by, and honestly, I just don't see the point. Good Windsor heads have been available for decades now.

Edit: I just reread the ad, it mentions the import heads in reference to the '81 5.0. I have no idea what they could be.

What could you do to the rear to make it match the fug... er... front of the car?

In reply to HappyAndy:

Based on the car, and the ad, I would assume that every part of the car that has been changed from stock is worse than what the factory would have installed in the first place. Assuming the car was a '94 or '95 GT (and honestly this could be a V6 car with an engine swap), I would take that 302 in a heartbeat over an '81.

I'd offer less than scrap weight for the car, whatever that is these days, to take it off his hands. Something like $200 and I pull it home so he can stay in his house where his drugs are.
