Not $50 cheap, but still. What do you think could be wrong with it?

In my very limited experience with Saabs so far, I think they came from the factory with the check engine light on.

It's shocking how many times I find SAABs with the wrong spark plugs in them. Pun intended.

It could very easily just be a bad ignition cassette caused by old worn out plugs, or the wrong plugs. You must use the factory specified NGK plugs and change them before they wear out to keep a DI cassette healthy. SAAB doesn't use fancy plugs, they are not expensive at all.

None of my SAABs have had CEL problems. To be fair, none were newr than a'97 9000.

Sorry, I was still in this frame of mind when I posted earlier:

I would totally check out that Saab in the listing.

He probably didn't gap the plugs when he put them in.

Lot of wrong ignition coils out there apparently. Also apparently hyper sensitive to spark plugs. So I'd also suspect these are the problem with the rough running and check engine light.

Worth checking if you're interested. At least in my opinion.
