on a related note, a friends project..
there are 2 quantum syncros in this photo... one of them used to be a wagon.
I was about to jump all over this, but I know you are on the 5cyl turbo kick right now
Either give me a loan to go get it, or you hop on your horse and go get it. NOW.
I won't have that kind of cash til middle of march. All yours, sir.
The rear suspension from those is worth $$$ for people doing syncro conversions on mk2 vws. An audi a8 v8 bolts right in too. Also, the vw parts outlet lists brand new trannys for the 82-84 ones for $299.
Is it just me or is Quantum Turbo just about the best car name ever?
OK so if the deal on a local Legacy SS falls through I'm going to fly up and get this this weekend. So either way, I should have a bada$$ dd by sunday!

It's the red one isn't it. I knew it..
no, the red one is a 4000 with a motor swap.
I speak of the El-Quantimino
I think you just found the donor car for that 5cyl 20v turbo 200 engine. Hot damn that would be a sweet car.
End up with a 500awhp+ Quantum Syncro wagon? YUS PLZ.
Edited first post to include link to more detailed FS thread.

For a daily driven, 20 year old, Ohio car, that thing is immaculate.
Well, I ended up with the Subaru this weekend, so this thing is still there!
My teammate bought it for $1900. I'm one of the drivers on Chicken and Waffles that won the 24hr LeMons American Irony IoE trophy in the Quantum Syncro. One of our other drivers bought this blue turbo from Cincy, it now lives in Ann Arbor, MI.
