I would think it should not cost too much to fix that.

So if it were running,, it should be a 2k-ish car. Battery is $50 (20 for a blem), fuel pump is 250., maybe $30 at a pnp. If it were so easy, why wouldn't they go for max money? i see lots of CL cars that just need a battery...I tend to read that as code for something majorly wrong.

i always ask if i can bring a battery and try to start when they say "just needs a battery"

nobody has ever let me try.

The 'car have some rust' plus auto and not running makes me think it's not worth fixing. You can find really nice ones for 4-5k

My wife is from WV, I cringe every time I have to listen to part of her family speak. And I've blocked most of them on spacebook just because of the caveman speak. that being said, I'd still wave cash in front of his old lady and lowball em.

Actually, I called the lady (Nellie Lee). Other than the usual twang, she seemed rather pleasant...and not what I expected since I have relatives 5-10 miles from there.

Car has some rust on the passenger side rear wheel well.No problems whatsoever with the trans, whoever she was talking to (son/husband/brother) said that it had to be the fuel pump because it had been sitting since she bought a new car. He took out the fuel filter, and no gas.

No problems with the sunroof, or the drivers side window.

Very nice lady...she did say that a man from Michigan wants it badly and asked her to hold it for him until he gets a trailer. No deposit given = no hold on the car.

I'm thinking that she is firm-ish on the price though.

Wife's grandmother lives near there. Not a lot of BMWs in that area.

CL as flagged for removal. Wonder if it was the guy from MI?

I went to see an integra once that said that. I put a fully-charged spare battery in the trunk of my car. When I got there the guy was adament that the ONLY thing it needed was a new battery ("the old one had a bad cell"). So I walk to my trunk and get the battery, start walking to the car, and suddenly he's like "oh, well that might not work because blah blah blah...."

Without saying a word I just turned around, put it in my trunk, and just drove off. ........
