something wrong with that picture. car is in michigan and there are no holes in front of rear wheels.
talk down to $700, sell hardtop, $free miata?
If that were within 3-4 hours of me, i'd just buy it, take it home long enough to pull the finish panel, whatever interior stuff looks good, and the hardtop.
Then drive to the junkyard for scrap.
Sell finish panel and interior stuff. Enjoy ridiculously cheap hardtop.
Does anyone want a free miata? If you are close I'll buy it for the hardtop, you pick it up, ship me the hardtop and you keep the miata
If someone wants to do something with this, I need a good drivers seat and drivers door card. I was about to pull the trigger on this and realized that I didn't want to drive to Michigan pulling a dolley to get this. Too darn far! But if someone wants help with making this cheap, I'm in for those parts. I even have a straight shell with minimal rust like 4"X6" ahead of each rear wheel to help put this back together if needed. All suspension too.
Looks like it was repainted at some point. Can't really tell about by rust due to that. The early cars had black rocker panels, this one is painted red. Might have been patched. Interior looks decent. The radio/hvac surround does not appear cracked. The rear wheel does look forward, but it also has mudflaps which change the appearance. Wheels look like painted daisies. I wish I had time to go snag that myself.
I texted the guy (it's 225 miles from my house in Indy), he said he already has 2 people coming over this afternoon to look at it. I can't get up there until Friday at the earliest, so I suspect it will be gone way before then.
