OOh I'll call them tomorrow and see if they still have it. The shifting issue could be REALLY simple (or not).

haha, because it doesnt happen that often, but as of lately, ive seen some good cars coming from the Dayton CL...

I just got back from checking out the car. Yep, it's good and stuck in 1st gear. I pulled back the shifter boot, all the linkage is good at that end. It was too low to get a good look at the linkage underneath. I tried rocking it to pop it out of gear to no avail. Shift selector/ shift fork? It did start right up though and sounded fine otherwise.
It is a 2.2 which is a good thing and the seller is not firm on $500 at all. The rust on the rear wheel wells does continue down into the rockers at least on the driver's side. There's a crack in the windshield on the passenger side too.
It looks like a decent deal for somebody, probably not me though. I like cheap beaters that I can drive home and then start dumping money into.
