not mine, not affiliated... and i am now haunting you guys from Ohio...

1986 Dodge Charger Shelby Turbo car, 5 speed, low original 77,000 miles, have clear Ohio title. The good: rare original Carrol Shelby classic, has original numbers matching engine, trans, monogrammed seats, body wearing original paint, very little rust thru to deal with. The bad: Paint very poor, interior dirty, front floors and floor supports rusted thru. Not running, needs: gas tank, rack and pinnion, radiator, ecu, brakes. Parts for these are cheap and plentifull. For under 2 grand and a couple of weekends you could have a really cool Mopar valuable classic/racer/grunge driver/whatever. I can be contacted at 619-787-37O9 See the entire picture story here; http://s1043.photobucket.com/albums/b439/tonydshinycar/1986%20Dodge%20Charger%20Shelby%20Turbo/

Welcome to Ohio. I need a motor for an 89 Daytona. I should check it out. Something that helps get us thru the winter months; Motorcycle Show. Jan 27-29, Cleveland IX Center. motorcycleshows.com

I love it (please note sarcasm).

"...very little rust thru to deal with."

Then the very next sentence is the floor and frame supports are rusted out....gee, strikes me as some rust thru to deal with there.

Is salt/rust so bad in Ohio that a car, admittedly a 25 year old car, with only 77,000 is badly rusted underneath? Didn't anyone ever tell this guy it's a good idea to powerwash the underneath during the winter months...not just the sides to remove salt build-up?

I guess you can't go too wrong at the price, tho?

I had an 86 just like this as my first car, one of the worst things that has ever happened to me.

You should see my sister's 99 Escort (Ohio car) with ~75k miles. It has no rockers.

You'll need to log in to post.
