I bought one of those that still had a bed and was 4wd for less than that, then again mine ended up needing a trans. Pulled fine until loaded....then it slipped.
pending rear end gear, it'll get 9-13mpg. And its hard to go wrong with these.
The dually rear axle is nice, it'd make a good gooseneck bird, but I can get an Excursion for not a huge ton more than that with the v10, and that will be 4wd.
When we bought our F-250 diesel the dealer said the V10 was good for those who won't use the truck much.
