When was the last time you saw and FM converter?

I used to have one in a '86 Cavalier company car who's only options were air and automatic.

I couldn't make myself love one of those cars even if it was full of beer and strippers.

Yup. I have always considered those Matadors a perfect storm of bad proportions and unfortunate detailing choices.

The sad part is I want to paint it blue/white/red and take it racing...

I drove one of those in high school, and though I've owned over a hundred cars it's one of the top three I regret selling. Mine had the biggest steering wheel in the world, so much so that my right leg had to squeeze under it to get into the car but it was smooth and stable and still pulling hard at over 120mph indicated. And it was amazingly comfortable to drive.

I found one in a 71' Malibu. Being half as old as the car, I thought it was a really cool bit of kit. Once I knew what it was. lol
