Hello everyone,
I have a 1995 Honda Prelude for sale, it has been my daily driver since 2008. It is a 5-speed manual with the 2.3 liter non-VTEC engine. The car has no rust, except minor rust on the metal sunroof panel. The car runs and drives and has about 168,000 miles. I've put fully synthetic AMSOIL in the car since around 120,000 miles, and it does leak in the oil pan gasket area a very small amount. The clutch has about 20,000 miles on it and I installed a Fidanza flywheel which makes driving a lot more fun. It has Koni yellows with Ground Control coils 400lb/in front 450 lb/in rear. It handles wonderfully! Everything works except the cruise control, and the air conditioning needs freon fairly frequently in order to stay cold. The car has its fair share of dents, but nothing serious and the paint, other than being dirty right now, is in good condition.
Also with the car comes a JDM H22 VTEC engine that may need some work before it can be swapped into the car. I bought the engine last year from a seller who claims it ran when pulled, but I have my doubts and have not disassembled much of the engine. Also, I have a spare bare H22 head, block, and crankshaft With this, I will include brand new OEM valves, springs, and retainers that have been machined and balanced. I have quite a few engine extras and whoever buys the car will get to take whatever I have in the garage. I also have a spare transmission that has all of its gears (came with the engine) but I'm unsure of the history.
The exhaust on the car is a Megan Racing (ricey can) that has a leak in the cat-back segment due to a crappy gasket. I'll also be including 3" stainless steel piping, flanges, and hangers from KTeller and two Magnaflow mufflers that only need to be welded. I wanted to learn how to weld with this, but got caught up with other things.
Why am I selling? Got myself a Miata and love it! I would really like this car to go to a GRMer, and cash speaks. I'm asking $2000 for everything listed above.
