Located in Berrien Springs, MI 49103
Car does not include, trans, axles.
$1750 until Oct 9th, then car is no longer for sale. I am moving and the car will be put in long term storage.
I could be interested in trading for a clean reliable 4x4 truck/SUV.
Additional parts in my other posts will be available cheap to the buyer of the car.
Car must be picked up by Oct 9th or on Oct 14th.
Car hasn't been driven in the last 5 years, been barn parked for the last 3 years.
Known missing parts are door panels, glove box, shift knob, shifter cable clip, and tail lights.
Power/Ground run to trunk for battery relocation.
Car has:
~80,000 miles -
Disassembled dohc engine, bored .002 over (I believe all major parts are there) -
ES bushings -
MPP rear sway, stock front -
Koni yellows -
MPP high rate springs -
booger bushings -
Dynomax piping with Vibrant can muffler -
16" '03 R/T wheels (needs tires) -
Depo head lights (in trunk) -
PIAA Driving Lights
I trust this is totally rust free with a mint interior? (is it a 16 year Michigan only car?)
I might be interested. Trans is AWOL and engine is in the trunk?

Only known rust is very minor paint chip specs. and along the pinch welds. The car has only been in MI since 2002, I bought it from a guy in Texas. I never drove it in winter, but was parked in the driveway all year.
Trans and axles were sold as they were not stock pieces. Engine block is on a cart and the other pieces are sitting on a shelf.
You can see full size pictures by clicking on them.
How much would one expect to spend to get this to be a running driving car with door panels? Are parts for these available in great abundance,or have they become rare now?
They've become rare on the roads because no one took care of them. they're common in the yards.
Glad this thing is far away from me.

1st gen Neons are not rare, just rare in this color.
No idea on costs to get running, depends on your final goals. You can find complete runners with rough bodys for a few hundred on Craigslist. Salvage yards are full of them, and there is Neons.org's forsale section.
The missing parts are easy finds. Door panels need to come from a '95 as that is the only year with that style, the tail lights can come from a '95-99. 5sp trans can be from a '95-99.
