I originally posted this on a local email list, and most of it makes more sense for a local sale, but posted here anyway.

Hey y'all. I need some stuff, and I got some junk in my way. I have a small amount of cash in my wallet. MAYBE someone here can get me the stuff I need in exchange for the junk in my way, or a small amount of the small amount of cash in my wallet.

My garage was robbed while I was on vacation and I lost a lot of power tools, tooling, and some brand spanking new racing parts I was staging for the next racecar build that were still in their packaging :-(

TOOLS I NEED: A corded impact wrench (consider air or battery if cheap, but really want corded) Metric Taps & Dies A multimeter A battery charger

PARTS I NEED: A non-reclining, preferably aluminum racing seat ala Kirkey Big racing rear view Gauges A 5-point harness A window net a quality racing kill switch spare rims to fit a BMW E30 1.5" roll cage padding Perhaps any E30 go fast goodies you might have lying around, LMK.

STUFF I GOT BUT DO NOT NEED:

$ MAKE OFFER $ ALMOST EVERYTHING YOU NEED FOR AN 1st GEN ESCORT (Tempo, EXP) ZETEC CONVERSION, including Blacktop Zetec from 99 Ford Contour, mated to Escort 4-speed transmission. Engine has low compression (50psi on one cylinder) and doesn't idle well, but oil looks clean. Escort transmission is really physically difficult to put in reverse, but otherwise OK. Transmission bell housing is specially modified to hold starter in position that is compatible with the Blacktop Zetec. Also included is the Contour radiator and overflow res, the AC& PS delete pulley, and a custom (not solid) mount that lets you bolt it right up to and escort engine bay. Special Ford fittings to hook the fuel rail up to normal AN stuff. Cone filter intake. Will throw in exhaust with 'extreme high flow' cat. Sorry, ECU not included. Offer me at least the metal scrap value or equal value in tools or parts and it's yours.

$ MAKE OFFER $ Extended axles and rack extension needed to widen the front end of a first Gen Ford Escort 8". if you for some ridiculous reason wanted to do that.

$250: MEGASQUIRT II + spark, configured for engine above. Buy the engine and MS2 too and I'll throw in all the custom wiring harness for FREE! If I can't get a decent price for this bit, I'll keep it for a yet-to-be-determined project, but if you need one now, here you go.

$200: Long range Raytheon-developed thermal imaging camera swiped from a Caddy. Works great. NTSC output. You can see clearly all the way to the horizon in pitch blackness with it. Would be ideal for hunting or whatever you can dream up. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ynpvmDertZw or search for better videos.

$75: Optima Pico Projector. Only used a couple times, works great, mint like new condition. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001L4L7AQ/ref=oh_details_o03_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

$35: Hauppauge 1200 HVR-850RT USB HDTV tuner for your PC. Used a couple times, my PC isn't machine enough for it. Item 15-116-031 on newegg. like new.

$50: Yellow double layer SFI fire suit bought from Dave Poske Racing some time ago. Well worn, and a bit ugly, but legal fire suit.

$700: Nice basketweave BBS rims for an air-cooled 911 with hard ancient Hoosiers mounted on them.

$50/ea, or $75 Pair of tan air cooled 911 seats, "fair" condition. Would make good seats for a video game simulator.

Lawnmower gas cans $3 each. I somehow have like 10 of these things for no good reason.

EDIT - ah yes, I almost forgot - aluminum tool box for medium sized pickup - know it fits a T-100, probably fits a Dakota or similar sized medium large truck. $100

STUFF YOU CAN HAVE IF YOU GET IT BEFORE I THROW IT AWAY: Table saw with a burned up motor. Needs a new rear bearing for the motor, couldn't find one and just bought another table saw. Harbor Freight TIG welder, magic smoke came out, never worked great to begin with. Have not attempted to fix. Regulator and gas tank not included. LCD Flat screen TV. Got it for free not working to use the polarized film in it for a project that I've decided isn't worth the effort. Have not attempted the fix the TV, might not be much wrong with it, but don't know. HUGE rear projection TV. Partially disassembled. Will only turn on one out of every 100 times you press the power button, then dies after 10 minutes or so, suspect flyback transformer, lots of parts. Electric weed wacker with nothing wrong except the cover for the string housing is gone.

I think it's this guy:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=05E-000K-00015&IsVirtualParent=1

It has lived a hard life, and I wouldn't recommend paying shipping on it, but with a new motor or a bearing, it could be made to cut up some more stuff.
