I had to look up "chambana" (and I can hear Tony Montana saying "champagne" for some reason). Unlike Donebrokeit I wish it was just a bit closer as it would eventually be my new DD -if possible...

Great... assuming all of the 25 year old stuff is put into good working order.
Suspension bushings.. brake lines.. electrical connections ect..
But once sorted they are plenty dependable enough.. and FAST.
Champaign, Urbana, Illinois.
Home of corn, more corn, REO Speedwagon, and the University of Illinois.

Don't forget, also home of:
Starcastle
Champagne(the band)
Hum
And it was where Dan Fogleberg started his career.

As big as Champaign is; I cannot sell any hoses in the area. Decatur, Peoria, Kankakee, Danville, Peru, LaSalle, and Springfield all buy hoses but I cannot find any hoses to sell in Champaign.
I went to look at it for someone tonight. They (aussiesmg I'm looking at you) have a PM. If the fool man chooses to pass I will provide my summary of the vehicles condition to the GRM community @ large.
After speaking with Daniel, here is his email to me in full, I am interested but if someone needs it more than me don't wait around and don't be afraid to jump on this.

"I looked at it tonight. He's got a few guys interested but no money has changed hands and it sounds like I am the first one to look at it.
It's VERY solid. The only rust that I saw (other than surface type rust on fasteners and the like) was a small amount of rust on the floor around the front lower frame rails where the subframe mounts. It wasn't soft or anything just did have some rusting (I would guess just needs some love from a grinder but may be hiding more). The wheelwells have no corrosion whatsover in any of the pinch welds, wheel arches or anything.
It doesn't currently run. IT has been sitting non-running for 2 years but did "ran when parked". I didn't even try to turn it over. The turbo had no axial play just the typical radial play you would expect. The wireing is a bit of a mess and should be considered a project to complete. There where a fair number of visible splices in the engine bay. It appears (Per my dodge friend) to have a Daytona engine and a mopar rebuilt GLHS ecu. There are a few different intercoolers that come with it as well as a brand new steering rack.
Overall interior is in ok shape.
3 out of 4 door handles are broken (comes with 2 NOS replacements). The headliner is missing completely. The front Airdam is gone/broken and 1 fog light is missing. Also the crash bumper trim seems missing.
Does not appear to have been in an accident as panel gaps seem straight and no evidence of major bodywork. The sideskirts are there and in good shape.
Overall it seems very worth the $900 if you have the time for a fairly non-trivial amount of work to get it going. IT has all 5 rims (4 black/chrome 1 raw spare).
Call me if you have any questions. He is in Dekalb but it is at his Dads property. I asked about storage and he said it's set there for 2 years what's another month or so. Tittle was "Lost" but he has the paperwork from the DMV showing his reciept for applying for lost tittle so he should have it in 7-14 days. I told Elliot that you are a GRMer and he seemed to know what that and the Challenge are about and thought it would be sweet if it became a challenge car. I also told him you planned to Paypal the funds for payment if it checked out and he was OK with that. I would recomend moving quick if you are interested. I don't think an interested party will leave without buying for the price it is.
Let me know if you need anything else and let me know when you will be in town if you end up getting it.
Thanks,
Daniel"
