MG Midgets for sale or even better a trade

I have two MG Midgets that have to go before my dad scraps them. Offer me a trade or money. I don't want to do this but things are kinda forcing my hand.

Oh yeah they are a '72 (orange) and '78 (white). The '78 has a motor and transmission. The '72 is a roller. Both of them have all their body parts. The '72 has a hardtop. Please someone take them. The orange one is two nice to end up in a scrap yard.

If I had a way to get them and a place to store them I would take them off your hands.

I'm guessing you would take a case of beer each at this point.

so I recently purchased a smallish SUV thats capable of hauling 3500 lbs, my FIL has a 12 foot trailer, rollers are light, I want a 3800SC inside SOMETHING...and youre desperate...

I probably have a month or two. I want the money to go halfsies on another beater to go autocrossing/ rallycrossing or if someone has a running car. I would like to get make what I spent to buy them which isn't a lot so send me a PM if you are interesting and we can figure something out.

What's the rust situation like on each? What is keeping the one from being a runner? Just sitting for a long time?

Rust situation on the white one seems bad and it has been in a light fender bender. Orange one needs new floorboards but otherwise good. The orange doesn't have an engine but it probably won't be to hard to swap the other one over.

If whoever buys this is interested, PM me for some new parts I have leftover from my own now-sold Midget project, including new rubber floor mats and an entire set of poly suspension bushings for the front, all new in wrap or boxes. Prices will be reasonable.

This makes me laugh. Dad sold his Austin Healey in 1996. We still have parts sitting in the garage and basement. And the car was sold with a big box of parts in the front seat, and it was in good running condition!

Bump. I am only looking for $200 for the both. Come on guys.

Really wish I could as I already have a Midget project w/parts car. The project is a 63 and the parts car is a RWA (I think 71 or 72). Have enough parts to probably get the 72 on the road but the 78 would be a bit tougher here in AL without a title. Just don't have the room and the SWMBO would probably hurt me. Getting them down from KY would be another thing also.

Yes it would. Orange one (72) had a 1275 MG engine and the white one (78) has a 1500 Triumph engine. The same engine as a Spitfire. Different block and mounting, things are on different sides, like carb/exhaust for example.
