Looks amazingly clean! Even with the non-running condition it seems like a steal to me. You never see these cars anymore.

I got an email back from the seller. He said it's very solid, no dents, maybe a few dings, good glass and original paint. Unfortunately, it's green, not silver as it appears in the photos. I hate green. If it were brown, I would have hit the BIN twelve hours ago.
I'll probably regret it, but I think I'm going to pass. I'd be all over it if I could get my trailer there and back in a day, but that's not going to happen.
My parents bought a new brown 626 Luxury sedan in 1981. I remember looking for a used coupe in 1985 and I could only find one for sale back then. This is probably the best one left. Finding parts would be a nightmare. I've sold cars in the past because I couldn't find a gas tank and I don't want to be in that position again.
My parents had one for a while when I was about 19. I loved it. I'd be tempted by the right one for sure.
Everyone has excuses, but I am put off by the sunroof. If it quit working, or doesn't work, you'd have very little hope of fixing it.
One of the reasons I bought my '88 turbo was that it had a slick top.
I used to work with a guy -years ago- that drove one of these. I really liked they way they looked +RWD and have wanted one ever since. Sadly, I might have seen one other on the road in the last 25 years. Too bad they weren't more popular and sold more/longer so we could all have a shot at owning one (and with enough used parts to keep them going..).

In the past two weeks, I've bought a motorcycle and a Subaru. It's just not a great idea for me right now.
Well Woody when it rains it pours, found a second green one for you to fret over the colour, more money but better condition...
Or a silver-blue one
Ottawa
Seems like a great candidate for wrapping in whatever color you want. Metallic orange? White? Might look nice on Panasports. Just saying, I have no dog in this.

Paint is easy and RX-7 alloys are a dime a dozen. Sounds like excuses to me. I do like brown cars as well, but don't like the -7 alloys. So many better choices. I have some almex alloys that would look way better on that car and have the same 4x110mm bolt pattern but still the unfortunate 13 " size.
