One of the builders did offer a Ferrari V-12 option, but it was like a $20,000 option or maybe more.

At a decent price, it would be a neat car to have. I mean, it turns heads, it is a convertible, and even when you have to tell people that it is not a Ferrari, you can tell them that it was the same car used in Miami Vice. I'd take it to car shows and park it in the Corvette section.

I’ve never understood the near unanimous admiration for Cobra replicas compared to the at best lukewarm reception Daytona replicas have. Cobra's haven't excited me since I was about 12, but the Daytona is one of the best looking cars of all time.
