NMNA. SAAB Guys . . . This 1971 SAAB 99 PLUS Turbo for only - $200

"I'm selling my 99, this car is rough, but it is repairable. Has rust in floor, also over flares. Original interior, engine, and trans is gone. I was going to put my 88 900 turbo and 5 speed into this car, and it is included. I will also include my SPG parts car. I have a clear title for the 99,but unfortunately I have lost the title for the SPG. The SPG is titled into my name and has been since 1998 however. I also have two additional 2.0 turbo engines, one additional 5 speed and an automatic that I will include, and many other misc 900 parts. These parts you will have to pick up, and are located near Lake Geneva. ( about an hour away). Please don't waste my time kicking tires. The price isn't going to change. The car must go soon or I'm going to scrap everything. There's much more $$ than what I want for it and I can easily make that if I haul it off, but I'd much rather see a SAAB guy get it. I'm available only on the weekends to show it. "

Now THAT is a hell of a crapcan racer/challenge starter kit if I've ever seen one.

I want that soooo bad. Too far away. Dammit.

Oh my God, exactly what I need to finish my car, plus extra stuff. And a 99 shell. What could possibly go wrong?

No clue how I could logistically move all this stuff.

My wife will most likely kill me.

If i gad the time and space, I'd travel from MD for this!

It took me awhile to sell a mostly rust free 74 99 EMS for roughly the same price. There doesn't seem to be much demand for them.

I would've thought the TWO extra turbo engines and trannies alone would be worth it to a SAAB guy.

My bad, I totally missed that part. But I do see "no title". It was in his name, get a replacement title, but that is going to cost a few bucks.

Two cars being sold here. the 99, and the SPG parts car, plus engines and transes galore. Sounds like he has the title for the 99, but not for the SPG parts car.

Seriously, if you are just starting out as a GRMer and you have an empty garage, this is a great way to fill it up. If I hadn't already just bought a saab, I would be quite interested.
