That 4.0 is one of the worst engines BMW ever made. Don't know a tech who likes it. Avoid them like the plague.

The 99 is the 4.4L, and the 95 is a 4.0L that is probably not a nickasil block at this point. They're not much different than dissecting any other quad cam engine.

Tuna, go buy those.....I'd give you about treefiddy for the disassembled m62 4.4L

Putting together a quad cam engine that you didn't take apart and was probably not well documented when disassembled, what could go wrong?

True, the biggest problem I see is that the end caps weren't kept with or on the head.....which can be VERY BAD
