Due to recent changes in our family(for the better, fortunately) I'm thinking of changing my previous vehicular strategy of owning a variety of cheap cars, to only having one decent car for each of us. Toward that end I'm listing the entire fleet(except SWMBO's car that she's using) for sale here and on the Open Classifieds page.
Here's a list of each one, with some brief details. Pics are posted below.
1997 Nissan 200SX 2-door - GRM no bullE36 M3 price: $1500
We've owned this one about 1-1/2 years. It was my step-daughter's car until this summer, and only has 128kmi on it presently. It's an automatic.
The Good:
Runs & drives great.
Cooper Winterforce tires with less than 2000-miles on them.
A/C blows cold.
Interior is in good condition.
Heat/radio/windows/etc. work fine.
The car is solid underneath.
The Bad:
Rear 1/4's have bondo in them.
Front fenders are rusted loose behind the wheels.
Exhaust leaks near the flex-pipe, but not too loudly.
Key doesn't work in the drivers' door.
Dumb tribal graphics from PO.
I like the Hyundai but don't need anything small hatch. You are even within easy driving distance for me.
In reply to singleslammer:
I have a couple other offerings I'll be posting up later.
I know this is a fleet REDUCTION but any interest in the 98 GSXR 600 I just posted?
Are those BMW Bottlecaps?
I thought I recognized those!
In reply to singleslammer:
Not directly - I have no desire to be on the highway around all the idiots on a bike. However, if I find someone who's interested in it we might be able to work something out.
In reply to 914Driver:
Yes, but I panted them white, so I prefer to think of them as "Camagnono's".
Where are you located Pete? I'm diggin the Hyundai!
In reply to DukeOfUndersteer:
Presently splitting time between east-central IL and Biloxi, MS - with most of my time being in IL. I could possibly drag it down to the coast one trip if that's close enough for you to come get it?
Has that Hyundai ever had a timing belt service done?
In reply to SlickDizzy:
Twice. First time around 60k and 2nd time was last year around 120k.
If we only knew someone in Illinois that needed reliable, low cost transportation from a reliable source...

Up north that is a rust free 200.
Free bump
In reply to dean1484:
It was actually the perfect first car for my step daughter: Not fast at all, and not worried about it getting destroyed last winter. She did a good job though & didn't get in any wrecks...pretty sure that's at least partly due to the handful of autocrosses she did.
I would love that Accent if I can sell my BMW sooner than later...
That accent looks like a good deal!
In reply to SlickDizzy:
No need to rush, the Accent is the last of the 3 I'm listing on Craigslist, it's still my daily driver most days(though I can drive the Vitara or van...unless/until I sell those).
Just edited my original post - I pulled the title for the Beetle last night and noticed it's a 2002, not a 2000 like I remembered.
I updated the original post - the Beetle is sold and I'm keeping the Accent for now.
