In my continuing effort to streamline my fleet, I have decided that, in addition to selling my Miata, I am also going to sell two of my Honda Pit Bikes, a 71 CT70 Mini Trail and a 2009 Honda Ruckus.

You may have read about the CT 70 here: http://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/71-honda-ct70-mini-trail-vintage-pit-bike-update/1645/page1/#post21137

It's a 1971 CT70 K0 ("K-Zero"), the earliest version and most collectible series. It has a three speed transmission with an automatic clutch. I took it apart this spring, cleaned up the chrome, sandblasted the wheels, painted the wheels and hubs, added new tires, new handlebars, new battery and new carb. The paint is original and there are no dents on the frame. Good original seat. The chrome is nice but not perfect and it runs good. Almost every part is available new for these and they are highly collectible. I had a blast tearing around my yard on it all summer. $1300.

The Ruckus is a 2009 that I bought this summer. There was a huge demand for these and the dealers were selling out before they arrived. It is 49cc and doesn't need to be registered or insured in many states. It only has 275 miles on it and gets 100 miles per gallon. The only modification from stock is relocation of the turn signals to where the reflectors were. I removed the mounting tabs, ground things smooth and painted the front rack with the correct ($$) Honda paint. I paid $2500 a few months ago and will sell it for $2000. You can get a scooter that's like new without having to pay sales tax, dealer prep and delivery fees. It's still under warranty.

Wow, this thread came back from the dead!

Actually, I never made much of an effort to advertise these bikes. In fact, I think that this was the only place.

I didn't ride either one much at all this past year. And I am going to need some extra shop space for a potential Challenge project that I'm currently negotiating a deal for.

Both are still available. I don't think the Ruckus has more than 300 miles on it yet.

Where are you located?

I love the garage. Looks like I could fit a lot of Minis in that!
