I purchased these in this condition for a project that never materialized.
Neither fender appears to have been damaged. They are very clean underneath. The black area on the passenger's side fender appears to be the original gelcoat. There are no sanding marks, so I suspect poor paint prep led to peeling paint.
Perfect for the early, long hood 911 that you're building for the $2014 Challenge...
They are in Western Connecticut, not far from Lime Rock.
$375 for the pair.
Well, that was quick. I think these are sold.
Perhaps I have underestimated the market...

If I had a sketchy old 911 laying around I'd have bought those just to make a quick $1500 selling the original factory metal stuff.
I think you may have under valued those a tad :)
I'm about to undervalue a pair of wheels, if'n you're interested...

Never understood why Porsche fiberglass fenders cost more than any other fiberglass fender. Does the fiberglass know it's suppose to cost more? I recently picked up a set of fiberglass MGB flared fenders at an all British swap meet for $20.

I have one 15x7 and one 15x8 in 911 offset.
$200 each and I'll cover the shipping if you buy both.
Damn, those fenders would have looked sweet on an F150.

Those wheels would look sweet in the back of that F150...
