Okay, trying to buy a house, and SWMBO just scored an XJ40 for $1500 (pix this weekend when she brings it home).

So..Alfa project has to go. It's torn down a little more than in the pics,but I'll put the cam covers back on and the radiator back in. And you get every box that came with it. Clean title eventually (I was waiting until I got it running to title it).

Replied. Remember the "negociable" part..I just need it out of here, and I'd really like "one of us" to have it. Gotta tell ya though..don't just "bring a trailer", bring a tow vehicle big enough to take home the disconnected pieces & boxes of E36 M3 as well..

So have I, but the timing just isn't right..and this one needs a lil more than I can give her right now. I hate to admit that a car's finally beaten me, but I'd rather see it go than be one of those guys who sits on something for years (and ends up killing it) because they'll "get around to it eventually"..CM's "Ran When Parked" section is full of stuff like that. IIRC, didn't somebody on the staff write a recent column about folks that do that kind of thing? I can't recall whether it was in GRM or CM..but I certainly agreed with it when I read it. Great cars need to be on the road, and I can't give this thing what she needs right now. Time for me to be honest, and just let her go..

That Aussie has no tow vehicle at this time due to the misadventure on the way back from the challenge, still trying to work out how to go get this
