Last fall, while I was still in the middle of moving, I bought a 318 from BlueInGreen44 at a great deal under the premise that is would continue life as a Chumpcar. There has been a change in plans because I am picking up a rust-free Civic hatch to build instead as my wife really wants to stick to the Honda platform (she makes a good point that the garage is already full of Honda parts and hardware so why change)
The car is pretty clean. I drove it from Brighton Michigan to Imlay City Michigan before loading it on a trailer and hauling it to northeast PA. It has sat in the garage since November or so.
It was being used for a daily driver before I bought it. I know a couple of the windows do not work and the check engine light is on. It starts up and runs good. The tires are like new. The previous owner installed Koni Oranges. It has H&R sport springs but only the front are installed (the rear are included). I believe it has somewhere around 230k-ish miles.
It has a Michigan title. We haven't switched it to Pennsylvania so it does not have a current PA inspection.
I'm offering it for the same price I paid to GRMers to pay the good deal forward. A great start to a challenge car or your favorite low-buck endurance racing.
$550 takes it home as she sits.
I am currently about 1600 miles from the car so below are pictures from when I bought it.
Car is located close to Pleasant Mount, PA and guaranteed to be too far from where you are

Anybody who can't win the Aristocrat class with that opportunity needs to go buy a bicycle!
This could be the easiest transaction in the history of the internet. My son turned 16 last week. He can actually afford this. I may be somewhat familiar with these. Pleasant Mount is 25 miles away. If it runs and my feet don't push thru the driver's floor from rust... we need to talk.

If Huckleberry falls through gbuitinga_at_gmail_dot_com
Thanks
I can see my house from there...

This used to be my car. I can confirm that the body is solid, and not just by rust belt standards. There's not really any rust anywhere except for around the trunk latch.
Trying so hard NOT to buy this because I know I can't give it the track life it deserves, even if it would give me an excuse to go across the state from Mount Pleasant to Pleasant Mount. I honestly thought you moved right near me until I googled Pleasant Mount and saw it's a real place several hours away.
Huckleberry just found his new huckleberry.
In reply to Brett_Murphy:
It looks like I'm out. My son is not interested despite having seen a few pass thru here and come out looking badass, going like stink. It's his money but I'm trying to suppress thoughts of disowning him. A running/driving/rustless E36 for $550 is a steal.
wish it wasn't a 4 cylinder
Wow. I want that for a rallycross car.
GLWS, not that you'll need it.

Nothing an engine swap wouldn't fix.

Since Blueingreen cut me such a good deal I figured I would try and pay the karma forward on the board. If it doesnt sell here I will have the wife work her Craigslist magic.
A deposit has been received.
Yup, crewperson. Now I just have to get it back to London Ontario.
