Bet the transmission would still work fine if it were an E153.

Is a srt-4 worth 2k with 291 on the clock? I mean, how much of it is worth anything? I'd need to see a lot of receipts for suspension and brake stuff.

Just shy of crack pipe price. Maybe worth posting at $2k, expecting to get maybe $1800, if the body were perfect, and it ran well....maybe. Dented hood, crusty wheels, grenaded trans, coolant issues...$1100 tops, even with the running mill.

I overspent at $1700 on a 5 year older Infiniti G20 - base manual, with 185k on the clock. But it was a good runner, body in decent shape, and I really like these cars...so I overspent, knowing what I was getting. At least I could drive it away. You cant count on finding an enthusiast on the list of Craigs.

You guys are crazy. If it was clean and ran well and not a total pile, i'd pay $1800 for it with a blown transmission.

Any car with that miles, i'm doing suspension, brakes, and probably a clutch soon anyways.

Hood is bent? Great, i'll buy a pimpy ricer CF one like i always wanted.

I'd drive the E36 M3 out of this thing and giggle every last minute of it.

yeah.. I thought this looked like a heck of a deal. is the trans specific? Neons are the definition of plentiful.

• Less than 3k lbs
• Turbo
• Manual Trans
• 4 Doors
• can be competitive in Autox/Rallyx and can hold its own in HPDE
• DD
• Less than 2k dollars

Seems like this is the answer to most of the recent (what car but not a miata threads)...

EDIT: too bad I already have a hot econobox with a working trans.

200mi/day commute? Time for a different job.

Or time to move closer to the job. It is probably a few hundred dollars too pricey, wonder if the seller would be flexible.

This is actually a good deal. Most srt4s are beat to death with questionable mods and barely running for 3k.
