Starts, runs, drives.
The good news is, it is not a CVVT. It's a 5sp.
Sorry, it's not a 4WD.
The bad news is that it needs carb work, and it's got that crazy vacuum driven carb with throttle body injection that no one seems to know how to work on.
Needs a big cleanup- sorry, it's been sitting a while.
$600.
Car is located in 31721 (about 3 hours south of ATL). I travel a lot in the southeast, and may be able to assist with trailering it.
sounds perfect for megasquirt and tbi system from an old efi iron duke
er pics not working... but could be that im on a phone

Sorry about the pics...
I was moving a bit to fast earlier. Fixed.
under $20 for a carb rebuild kit... but known to be voodoo...
also seeing people installing older carbs from 1.5L toyotas and civics... prob easiest way to go...
Sweet, I saw once of these on the road today and remembered how awesome they were.*
*My version of awesome is skewed and may not meet rational criteria.
that's why you fit in here so well

The Yugo from Hell is sitting alongside it. I'll sell you that if you want- it's got plenty of box flare!

PM'ed you, kid (so we don't trash this thread)
What year? Is it the 1.0 or 1.2l ?
Any rust?
I wonder about carbs or fuel injection+megasquirt from a late model Triumph bike? They have inline triples with similar displacement.
Or get really silly and swap all 2294 ccs from one of these. Mount it longitudinally and use a rear axle from one of those mini pickups...
Good thing I don't have the room for that. Devilishly tempting.
One of those hit and totaled my MG Midget. At 35 mph, it was quite possibly the slowest, lowest mass car crash resulting in fatal damage in recorded history. For that reason, I do not like.
I LOVE these... But don't have the scratch right now. Sad, huhh?

You would have to either adapt the carbs on to the stock manifold or get very creative with a new manifold because the stock manifold according to what I have read has cooling passages in it.
Will it drive up to Atlanta?
that is all I have to add :)

All of that effort and an automatic transmission!? Also, some of that rust is scary.
Other than that, awesome.
Pull a Part North Metro Atlanta has a fresh to the yard Impreza with AWD....
Ive decided. Svrex, I want this.

That's not a Justy.
Anybody seen this done to a Justy? I don't think it can be done without moving the firewall and adding a driveshaft tunnel

I said it starts and runs. I didn't say it runs well!
This is a project car. It needs to be trailered.
It will run enough to prove it can run. That is all. I don't think it can be driven around the block. Also, its been sitting a long time. I would seriously question the tires, brakes, etc.
One other thing- I don't have a title, and I never did, so I can't re-apply. To put it on the road would require a bonded title.
