I've never heard of an RX, but if I had the money lying around, I would be buying this:

NMNA, but I wish it was mine

Man, I ain't seen one of 'dem in forever. It's based on the GL (or was it DL in '88?), IIRC. A girl I went to high school with had one, and I think I lusted after the car more than I did her...and she was good looking.

They weren't invented yet.

Aaahh... Didn't pay attention to the year, just saw early Subaru and make an incorrect assumption.
I will now go back to drinking beer instead of being at work...
Oh I want this. CT and 26 years old scares me for the amount of hidden rust it probably has but that looks like FUN!
I seem to remember reading about nightmares with those turbo engines. No intercooler either. Doesn't seem like a good idea. Awesome 80's car though.

No intercooler and tuned to run on 87 octane. Add an intercooler and turn the boost up from 4-5psi or whatever to 15 and you could really go play.
I used to own one of these.
Downsides: It's still a three main bearing, shared exhaust port EA engine, which developed a propensity for cracking heads when turbocharged in stock form. Handing, well, sucks. The bodies rust like you would not believe. My gut feeling is that, if it lasted this long, then it is probably a garage queen, since rust claimed most of these before they were ten years old.
Upsides: Splitting gears with the close ratio dual range transmission, which all 3-doors should have had.
