1992 GMC 3500HD. regular cab, 159.5 wheelbase. no bed - build a flatbed or ramp hauler? cab rusty, lifelong northeast ohio truck. runs/drives/stops. 454/4L80E. 5th wheel hitch. stripper model, few if any options. solid chassis, 19.5 wheels, 4 wheel disc brakes, huge dana 80 rear axle and solid front i-beam. will have mudflaps and rear tails installed(they were part of bed, therefore not there) so it can be driven home. pics available if interested, it's buried in snow right now. starts right up and runs awesome, idles nice and smooth, quiet exhaust.

$2015 obo?

have a 1990 c3500(non HD) extended cab with a 9 foot flatbed that could be negotiated into the deal to donate cab, bed, etc to make a truck that never existed from the factory(no HD ext cabs) once i pull the 454/th400 for the chevelle.

wife had an accident on the ice this morning, her daily is likely totalled, so going to need some more $ to put on top of the insurance payout to down payment a newer car. therefore, $1600 can have this one. she can't likely drive a 3500HD to work. it might be comical, but not really a good idea.

rendezvous. performed perfect - kept her safe. the front bumper/core support is pushed all the way back to hitting the motor, front end shifted to left. i don't think there's any way they'll fix it with the unibody needing pulled and the cradle mount being a pretzel.

it has under 3k miles on new transmission and rack and under 1k on new tires and struts. i'll have to buy it back just because the tires are probably close to the buyback price.

2015 challenge rendezvous?

honestly if they didn't make me get the title branded salvage necessitating a state rebuild inspection, i'd cut the stamped frame off at the firewall and mount the body on a 4x4 s10 chassis and toss in a 350/700r4/np241. i have better things to do though. unfortunately it did enough damage to make just slapping a couple bits on and going to pass the "i didn't steal these rebuild parts here are the receipts to prove it" test not economically feasible.

i always wanted to make a rendezvous or aztek 4x4 on a real frame to a: screw with people, b: tow something decent sized, and c: because they really are nice vehicles. the buick way more than the pontiac, but the pontiac ugly has grown on me through the years that i'm now quite fond of them.
