A very rare car. Modified by Griffith Company in 1979-1981, only 2000 made. Has a 20R engine, manual 5-speed. Complete and original, red exterior with black top and interior. Needs restoration. Don't have time to work on it. Would make a great project car. $1500 OBO

That actually looks...really good .
(Probably because it's not a backyard hackjob.)

That's very cool. I didn't know those even existed. It's a good thing I've got way too many other projects.
Nice find.
I have seen at least one of those before. Very, very cool.
I'm planning a cross-country trip summer 2013... thinking i might try to find one of these next year.
"Would Make a Great Project Car"
Why is it always the seller who says that? Why not let me determine that OK? You know what's a great project car? A car that runs, drives, is rust free, and I can go to the junkyard and pull parts for pennies that make it go really fast. Sourcing a new top for a limited edition Toyota from 1980 just sucks.

I always take this to read, "will likely sit in your backyard, not running, for years."

...at which point you'll sell it for less than what you bought it for from me.
I still want it. No space at the moment, though.
They come up from time to time. Always in about that condition. Would be a fun project.
Kinda nice one here:
