CL seller said: 1992 MAZDA RX5 4CYL 5SPEED RUNS GOOD DRIVES GOOD NEET LITTLE CAR 700.00 OR BEST OFFER

My first guess would be MX-5, but why wouldn't they just call it a Miata? MX6 maybe. Definitely not a FD RX-7.

Either way almost all 1992 Mazdas are worth $700.00

Could be a 929 which shares the body with the RX5/Cosmo. I requested pics.

The year would have to be '82 for that to be possible.

In reply to SlickDizzy:

The seller didn't get the model of the car right, is it that far fetched that the year might be incorrect also? Haha.

aussiesmg - I stand by my original statement, though I admit I was off (4-cyl 929 ended in '81, not '82). Was never a 4-cyl 90's 929, and the line didn't begin until '73.

Carson - that has yet to be proven! Who knows, it might be an actual RX-5 and the guy is just a dipE36 M3.

Sounds like he could be a dipE36 M3 regardless of what the car turns out to be.

Wait, that's not the Christmas spirit.
