WTB: BABE Rally get home car/bike

I am doing the BABE rally with a few buddies. They want to split early after it ends in New Orleans and i want to stay a bit because its a once in a lifetime thing for me.

I was wondering if any of you had a car or bike or knew of one that i could buy down there and ride back to cleveland with.

Assume that my budget is under $2,000. Would like it at or under 1,000$ though.

Motorcycles? Jeep Wranglers? Miata? Convertible? (if a miata is a bit more then 2g email me, i could use a new daily driver)

Think along those lines.

would have to pick it up in New Orleans Friday May 17 or really really close by, Pensacola Florida May 18? (or between New Orleans and Pensacola) or pick it up the last leg of the BABE Rally in Gadsden AL may 16.

or if i can tag along the whole way with Jim, i could pick up and drive home from Mullica Hill, NJ.

Does anyone have anything? Have leads on anything? Insight on this?

Looking to do a fun road trip adventure with the greatest of american spirit.

I love the idea and I love the adventure of it all. I looked for something for myself but did not really find anything I need. However, I came across some other bargains. If you have up to $2k to buy something you could maybe double your money or if nothing else cover all of your expenses so it is a free trip.

A rust free 15 passenger van will be worth more than $2k in Cleveland.
Rust free Subaru wagon w/2.2L and manual will sell fast in Cleveland.

bring something clean up and sell for profit. think rust free trucks.
