Haven't been here in a while but I know this is a good place to look. Here's the deal.... My dad has a '50 Chevy truck with a 350 that I've driven and fallen in love with. It's a rust bucket, it's loud, it's fast, and that's why it's awesome. So, I'm on the hunt for something similar. I'm into 30's, 40's, and 50's trucks. I also have a thing for early 60's muscle cars. Falcons, Novas, Galaxies, etc.
Basically what I'm looking for is something that runs strong and has a solid mechanical start to it. When my dad bought his '50 the body and bed is all rusted, but its had a front clip put in, disc brakes added, etc. If the body's not great, I'll feel better about painting it flat black or red anyways. Obviously it doesn't have to be under $2011, and I'm willing to drive to get the right rig. I found a really cool slightly pro-streeted Nova by me, but it only eats race gas. That makes it hard to cruise in.
So if you think you have something I'd like, let me know. If it's an early 60's two door with fat tires in the back and a big motor, I'll be even happier. Watching American Graffiti and seeing Harrison Fords 210 ruined me.
